Weekly Update : ) Romeo’s Lips are Two Blushing Pilgrims??? And a Link To Tristan’s Video

This Friday, Romeo met Juliet.

They kissed two times.

He dropped some really heavy, even religious sounding pick up lines on her.

And Tybalt got scolded by Lord Capulet.

We began with 2 Timothy 2:22 “Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.

And then we journaled about LOVE. Specifically, what is the difference between infatuation and love. A crush and a lasting relationship. Love at first sight, lust and true healthy love. I asked students to think about what they one day want in a spouse (aside from attraction).

After a short true or false pop quiz, we went over our “instead of notes” paper that gave us the characteristics of a Shakespearean Comedy. I am so excited to take the kids to see As You Like It tomorrow night. We then finished reading Act I and began the very start of Act II.
